The Gilbert & Sullivan Company of El Paso Presents “The Sorcerer” for its 56th season

Our story takes place in a small, rural village. The villagers are excited about the upcoming betrothal of Alexis Pointdextre to Aline Sangazure and the upcoming banquet being held in their honor. Alexis is convinced that the power of love is enough to overcome everything, no matter age, social rank, or fortune, so he enlists a Sorcerer, known as John Wellington Wells, to make a love potion to spread among the townspeople. What shall become of all the mis-matched couples?

We are proud to announce that Brittney M. Williams is our Artistic Director for The Sorcerer. Marsha Watley is Vocal Director, Bethany Tredway is Piano Accompanist and Jesus Candela is Chamber Orchestra Director. The production cast is composed of local volunteer talent.
